The Hyperion Investment Funds (‘Scheme’) is a managed investment scheme. The Scheme has on offer two single sector investment funds, one of which is the Hyperion Global Growth Companies PIE Fund (‘Fund’), which provides investors with exposure to international equities.
The Fund is actively managed and invests in growth-oriented companies primarily listed on a recognised global exchange, at the time of initial investment.

Investment Policy and Objectives
The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve long-term returns above the MSCI World Net Total Return Index in NZ dollars and minimise the risk of permanent capital loss.
Investment Strategy
The Fund invests primarily in growth-oriented companies primarily listed on a recognised global exchange, at the time of initial investment and will have some exposure to cash.
Typically, the Fund is highly concentrated with 15-30 stocks that in Investment Manager’s view:
- are high-quality business franchises with sustainable competitive advantages
- have above average long-term growth potential
- have low levels of gearing
- have earning that have the potential to be sustained and grow in the long run.
