FundRock Guernsey

Chris joined FundRock (as part of the PraxisIFM acquisition in 2023) in 2009. Having initially joined the Operations team he became Managing Director later that year. Chris was previously operations director at Close Fund Services for six years, during which time he reviewed and implemented new operational procedures leading to a more focused and risk-based approach on a broad range of funds. Reviews included the areas of pricing, risk evaluation, NAV production and providing fund advisors with enhanced solutions for their business. He continues to sit on a number of fund and general partner boards and oversees all management services including adherence to distribution rules and investor reporting. Chris' focus is primarily on developing opportunities in fund management, risk management and AIFMD/UCITS solutions.

Dave joined Apex Guernsey in January 2019 through the acquisition of the Ipes business. Having served in a variety of senior roles, Dave was promoted to Director and appointed to the Board of Apex Fund and Corporate Services (Guernsey) Limited in July 2021. Over a 15 year career in the Guernsey finance industry, Dave has gained experience in a number of areas, specialising in Private Equity and Real Estate Fund Administration across fund admin operations, financial reporting and client relationship management. Dave is solutions driven, and across 3 years with Ipes Guernsey and 4 years with Apex Guernsey he has contributed to the delivery of a number of initiatives to improve client service across the local book. Having gained a keen interest in the Risk Management and AIFM space, Dave joined the FundRock Guernsey team as a Director in March 2023 and was appointed to the Board of FundRock Management Company (Guernsey) Limited (alongside his Board position of the Fund Administration business) the same month. Dave is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.

Matthew joined Sanne Fund Management (Guernsey) Limited as Senior Manager in 2022. Born and raised in Guernsey, he has been a qualified accountant since 2010 and has a background in Fund Management and Captive Insurance. He started his career in Audit with PKF in 2006, moving into Private Equity Fund Management with Northern Trust in 2010 where he began to develop his Team Management skills. As a Client Account Executive at Artex Risk Solutions, Matthew managed both the Accountancy and Corporate Secretarial functions for Captive Insurance Companies and other complex Fund structures (PCCs). Matthew joined International Fund Management Limited as an analyst in 2014, having worked in in the finance industry since 2000. Matthew provides management and risk management services as well as being a daily contact for fund management clients. With oversight of our team of analysts, his daily responsibilities include oversight of funds under management and risk management reviews for UCITS regulated funds, principal managed funds and funds marketed under the AIFM directive including the implementation of risk systems through his experience in IT and software. He is also responsible for monthly risk reporting, the review and issue of Key Information Documents (KIDs) under the Packaged Retail and Insurance Based Investment Products (PRIIPS) regulation & UCITS, development of risk management policies and undertaking due diligence oversight visits to various counterparties and outsourced service providers.
