FundRock appoints Romain Denis to drive ongoing investment in FinTech

FundRock Management Company S.A. (“FundRock”) today announced the appointment of Romain Denis as Director of Technology, Program Management and Data Management. Romain will leverage his strong experience in building on-line customer solutions, to expand on FundRock’s best in class risk & compliance tools developed over a decade in fund management. “At FundRock we are dedicated to continuously develop and invest in our people and our platform for the future. Romain Denis brings with him more than 15 years of experience of developing IT platforms. He has managed front and back-office software solutions, built efficient information system and in-house tools such as Fund Order Management Systems. He started his career in 2001 at ProCapital/Fortuneo, helping them build and later support their securities services platform, which was one of the on-line success stories in France. He then joined SunGard Financial Services in 2010, running large scale multi-national change programs, gaining experience which led to the launch of his company “Onside Consulting” in 2012. Onside Consulting helped companies manage complex change projects and built efficient electronic payments and financial services solutions. “Having worked with FundRock for the past six months I didn’t think twice before accepting the opportunity to become a permanent part of the team, and to relocate to Luxembourg” said Romain. “Throughout my time consulting, I had been impressed by FundRock’s dynamic approach, their openness for innovation and the quality of their people and platform”. Romain started to work with FundRock as an independent consultant in November 2015 before taking up the role as Director of Technology, Program Management and Data Management effective May 2016.
