Etienne serves as the Managing Director of ManCo Services for FundRock Managing Company SA. Prior to this role, he was Chief Operating Officer for Europe at our parent company, Apex Group. Previously, Etienne spent a decade at AXA Investment Managers, driving major corporate restructuring projects. He went on to found Architas, a multi-manager boutique within the AXA Group in London, acting as Chief Operating Officer. Etienne also held several managerial roles at AllianceBernstein, including Head of EMEA and Asia Insurance, and was Chief Operating Officer at Universal Investment Group in Luxembourg.

Hugues joined FundRock in 2018 and is our Risk & Compliance Director. Hugues has over 13 years of experience in the financial services sector. Prior to joining FundRock he served as Risk Manager for 7 years in a Hedge Fund in Paris (Sigmalog Capital). Additionally, he was a project manager consultant for 6 years and lead global projects for major actors on the market (BNPParibas CIB, Candriam AM, KBL Private Banking…). He holds a Master in Economics and he is a FRM Charter and Prince2 certified.

Chris joined FundRock in Luxembourg in 2017 as a Senior Client Relationship Manager, responsible for the day to day query management and coordination on behalf of clients and delegates across Asia, Europe and the US for funds in Ireland and Luxembourg. He transitioned to Director of Client Relationship Management, Client Service Management and Business Implementation in 2018, where he developed two new teams focussing on specialist client orientated BAU. In 2022, Chris was appointed Regional Head of Client Relationship Management for Apex Group in Luxembourg, where he held overall responsibility for CRM’s across all Apex Group entities operating in the Country, including FundRock, while retaining his seat as a member of FRMC’s ExCo. In 2023, Chris moved back to FundRock as Global Head of CRM – Manco and a member of the senior management team running the day to day operations of the business. Prior to joining FundRock, Chris spent 14 years working in client facing roles across different asset sectors in the UK and Luxembourg. He began his career with a Global Asset Manager in 2004, and in 2007, he moved with the firm from London to Luxembourg. In Luxembourg, he managed Client Service teams for a Nordic Private Bank and leading Alternative Asset Fund Administrators focusing on private equity and real estate investments. Chris studied Business Management & Computer Science at London Metropolitan University.

Ruxandra joined FundRock in 2016 and currently holds the position of Risk & Compliance Deputy Director, covering Investment Compliance and ESG/SFDR. Prior to joining Fundrock, Ruxandra has gained experience within the banking sector during 10 years. Ruxandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Bucharest Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banking and Stock Exchange (FABBV) and a Master’s Degree “DAFI Master of Financial Management and Investment”. She has been awarded the Certificate in ESG Investing by the CFA Institute.

Frank is responsible for the strategic development of FundRock’s management companies in Luxembourg, with a particular focus on strategic outsourcing and lift‑out solutions for asset managers. He has played a central role in shaping one of Europe’s leading third‑party ManCo platforms, contributing to the successful consolidation and commercial expansion of businesses now overseeing more than €200bn across liquid and illiquid strategies in Luxembourg alone. From 2015 to 2025, Frank served on the Managing Board of FundRock LRI and currently sits on the Board of Directors of FundRock Management Company S.A. He is also a Director of FundRock Holdings S.A., the holding company of FundRock LIS S.A and FundRock MC S.A. and has been instrumental in driving the group’s M&A execution roadmap ensuring business development, operational alignment, cultural coherence, and long‑term value creation across multiple acquired entities. Frank holds degrees in Economics and Marketing (Utrecht University of Applied Sciences), Business and Real Estate (EBS Universität), and an MBA in General Management (Kellogg School of Management / WHU). A qualified banker specialising in investment management and analysis and a certified real estate economist, he brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience. His previous roles at ING Investment Management, Union Investment, Robeco, and cash. life, alongside advisory engagements for private‑equity firms, reflect a long-standing track record in strategic development, M&A, reorganisations, and complex operational integrations. Simon joined FundRock in November 2019 and is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of FundRock Partners in the UK. Simon has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years and has extensive knowledge of the European Funds market the Fund Services business. Simon has worked with clients internationally on business acquisitions, new fund structures and established outsourced service models. Prior to joining FundRock, he has held senior positions at Citi and JPMorgan within their Funds Services business and also for Threadneedle Asset Management where he held positions with Product Development and Operations.

Brett is the Managing Director of IP Management Company (RF) Pty Ltd, an authorised manager of a collective investment scheme in securities in South Africa. A chemical engineer by training, Brett made the move into financial services in 1999 and has been involved with the funds industry ever since, with more than 18 years’ experience in fund administration. He joined Peregrine Collective Investments (now IP Management Company) in 2007, as Director and COO, and was appointed Managing Director in 2010. Brett has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town (UCT), a B Com in Economics and Business Management from the University of South Africa and an MBA from UCT. Simon Sharrott is a Guernsey based investment professional with more than two decades of offshore industry experience. During these two decades of industry experience he has specialised in fund management, portfolio management, wealth management and private equity. Most recently, Simon served as Joint Managing Director and Group CEO at MitonOptimal Portfolio Management (CI) Ltd prior to its acquisition by the Ravenscroft Group in 2022. Following the acquisition, he continued with the Ravenscroft Group until April 2024, where he held the positions of Director and Portfolio Manager. During this tenure, he was an active member of both the Investment Management Committee and the Senior Executive Management Team. His responsibilities spanned across portfolio management, driving organic growth, overseeing strategic mergers and acquisitions, and managing key relationships with global distribution partners, institutional and professional investors, advisory firms, and family offices. Simon has comprehensive experience in senior leadership as a board director, he continues to be a non-executive director to several regulated investment vehicles. In 2022 he was named in the City Wire Top 100 Wealth Managers, in the UK. Simon is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments and holds a BA (Hons) in Business & Finance.

Arnold joined the upstart ARM Swiss Representatives SA (ASR) in January 2015 and has been integral to the growth and development of the company. ASR was acquired by the Apex Group in October 2021, and rebranded FundRock Switzerland SA in May 2022. A forward-thinking financial services expert, including collective investment schemes and Swiss regulations, he is a problem solver with sound judgement who has established business units and turned around teams in different jurisdictions. Switzerland is home but a significant portion of time was spent in other places, including the US, South Africa, and the UK. Elements of these different cultures blend together for a straightforward, pragmatic can-do attitude. Arnold has been employed in the financial services sector for 30+ years, including capital markets, corporate and investment banking, management consulting, and wealth management.

Elisa Sourmelis is Head of Risk & Compliance at FundRock Switzerland SA since May 2024. She joined the company in February 2022 working on compliance, regulatory and legal matters, notably in relation to collective investment schemes. Prior to joining the company, she worked in Brussels and Paris as an EU law and EU public affairs expert within business law firms, a consultancy, and the public sector (European Commission and services of the French Prime Minister). She was focusing on EU procedural matters as well as EU competition law and ESG topics. Elisa holds an LL.M. in EU Law from the College of Europe in Bruges. She also obtained a Bachelor and Master of Law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. In July 2023, she graduated from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) with a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in compliance, focusing on financial services.

Matthew is the Senior Executive Officer of FundRock Investment Management Services (ME) Ltd.. He has relevant experience, having previously managed a third-party management company in South Africa, Cape Town which is also a FundRock entity. The management company was responsible for overseeing liquid, open-ended portfolios. Matthew also has risk management experience on portfolios white labelled on the management company platform. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, Financial Risk Manager Charterholder and Bachelor of Commerce undergraduate.

Arnaud joined FundRock in 2020 and is Managing Director of FundRock Distribution. He has more than 25 years of experience as an EMEA institutional business developer and relationship manager in London. Arnaud has had an extensive exposure to and knowledge of portfolio management, strategic asset allocation, LDI/CDI, capital market and Fintech. Prior to joining FundRock, he worked at Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management where he was Head of European Business Development and Client Relations, and before worked at Insight Investment as a Sales director, Pareto Investment and Wellington Management International. Arnaud is a Swiss citizen and fully qualified CFA® charterholder.

Before moving from Sweden to Luxembourg in 2014, Marie has held various manager as well as sales positions within SEB and HQ Fonder (today Carnegie Fonder) over the years.
