The investment manager of the Bitcoin ETF PIE Fund is Raise Investments Limited (Raise), which was founded in 2025. Raise is responsible for selecting the underlying investments of the Fund, and in doing so focuses on investments that closely track the performance and price of Bitcoin.
Raise is a specialist investment manager jointly owned by the family interests of Anthony Edmonds and by Gareth Fleming. Anthony was the founder of Implemented Investment Solutions (now FundRock NZ Limited) and InvestNow, which were sold to Apex Group in 2022. Gareth was Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer alongside Anthony and is now Managing Director of Raise Investments.
